Hoxell unveils its new identity in Rimini and accelerates towards the Digital Worker model

The new positioning marks Hoxell's evolution from operational software to the digital heart of operations: a single source of truth connecting data, people, departments and decisions

Rimini, 13 October 2026 – Hoxell has chosen Rimini to unveil its new identity and to explain the role it intends to play in hospitality. The launch takes place during one of the most important weeks for the Italian industry: Hospitality Day on 13 October at the Palacongressi di Rimini, followed by TTG Travel Experience at the Rimini Expo Centre from 14 to 16 October.

The new identity reflects a change that goes deeper than visual language. Hoxell is evolving from a platform for managing individual tasks into the central system of operations. It is where data, people, departments and processes come together to give a shared, continuously updated view of what is happening inside the property.

Hotel technology is increasingly fragmented, with each department relying on different tools, procedures and sources of information. Hoxell aims to become the single source of truth for operations: a common reference point where everyone can access the information they need, understand priorities and act on the same data.

The new positioning is the result of research carried out in 2026 through interviews with clients at different decision-making and operational levels. They included CEOs, general managers, department heads, IT coordinators and representatives of hotels, healthcare facilities and holiday resorts.

The research showed that clients already see Hoxell as more than software. For management, it is a tool for oversight and continuity. For department heads, it means traceability, coordination and fairness. For the people working in the properties every day, it is a shared memory that reduces errors, misunderstandings and invisible work.

The new identity makes this value explicit and states more clearly what Hoxell has become: the operating system that connects the entire organisation.

The heart of operations

For decades, the PMS has been regarded as the centre of the hotel technology ecosystem. Its role remains essential. But as properties use more and more systems, a new layer has become necessary to connect information and turn it into action.

This is where Hoxell positions itself. It is not one more piece of software added to the existing infrastructure. It is the operational layer that gathers signals from different sources, makes them understandable and turns them into coordinated tasks.

Having the data is not enough; the value lies in making it immediately usable. A room that is ready, a guest request, a maintenance job, a department priority or an anomaly no longer remain isolated pieces of information. They become part of a shared, traceable flow that reaches the right people.

Hoxell thus aims to become the digital heart of operations: the place where the organisation builds a common memory, forms a consistent view of reality and coordinates its daily work.

A new "O" for a new positioning

The new symbol puts this ambition into visual form. The little bird that has accompanied Hoxell since 2019 now sits inside the "O" of the name, making it the conceptual centre of the identity.

The "O" stands for Operations, and for the point where information, people and activities converge. Its circular shape suggests a system that connects departments and keeps the whole organisation moving. The opening in the mark expresses growth, integration and continuous evolution.

The bird is no longer an external element alongside the brand; it now sits at the very heart of Hoxell. The choice marks a shift from an identity built around the product to one built around the role the company wants to play: the operational centre of the property.

The redesign keeps the elements that have made Hoxell recognisable over the years: the bird, the blue, the orange and the brand's approachable character. It places them within a more contemporary, flexible system suited to international growth.

"Clarity in operation"

The new tagline captures this evolution too. "Clarity in operation" replaces "Excellence in hospitality", moving from a general ambition to a precise promise.

Hoxell brings clarity to complex environments, where many people, priorities, requests, tasks, systems and responsibilities coexist. Clarity means knowing what is happening, who is handling it, which tasks have been completed and where action is needed.

It also means overcoming fragmented information and giving the whole organisation a shared version of reality. From management to the operational teams, everyone works from the same information, with clearer responsibilities, smoother communication and faster decisions.

Clarity thus becomes both the concrete result Hoxell delivers and the principle that unites its brand, technology and vision.

A cross-functional platform

The new identity moves Hoxell beyond any reading limited to housekeeping or to a single function. The platform connects different departments and processes, adapting to the needs of independent hotels, hotel groups, healthcare facilities, campsites, holiday resorts and university campuses.

The principle is the same everywhere: creating continuity between what happens and what the organisation knows. Tasks are documented, responsibilities become visible, and information becomes shared knowledge. That knowledge no longer depends on any single person or on the informal memory of departments.

Hoxell therefore becomes the infrastructure through which an organisation can see, understand and coordinate its operations.

Towards the Digital Worker

The new positioning also prepares the next phase of Hoxell's technological evolution. In this phase, agentic AI will play an increasingly active role in the day-to-day running of the property. It will interpret information, flag what is happening, suggest actions and support decision-making.

The first step will be a dashboard divided into areas. In each area, dedicated agents will show in real time how the property is performing and offer the most useful recommendations for each situation. Managers and directors will start their day with a picture that has already been read and interpreted. Priorities will be clear from the outset, and every recommendation will come with the context needed to act on it.

Agentic intelligence will also move into operational work, starting with room assignment. Each hotel will have a dedicated prompt built on its own rules, room characteristics and departmental habits. The agent will use it to assign rooms according to that property's logic. The front office team will thus be able to dedicate the time previously spent on a repetitive task to welcoming guests and enhancing their experience.

This marks the move towards the Digital Worker: a system that understands the property's operational context, interacts with people and continuously turns data into knowledge and action.

The goal is not to replace human judgement. It is to give people a more complete and reliable view on which to build better decisions. Hoxell thus becomes the meeting point between organisational intelligence and artificial intelligence.

Rimini as a starting point

Choosing Rimini brings the project back to the market where it began. Hospitality Day and TTG Travel Experience bring together hoteliers, managers, suppliers and technology companies from across the travel industry in a single week. That makes Rimini the most natural setting in which to present this new phase.

Rimini is the first step in an evolution that will continue on international markets in the coming months. The new identity makes visible a transformation already under way: from a task-management tool to the heart of operations, from a set of features to a single source of truth, from operational software to Digital Worker.
